Who owns Refresh Duct Cleaning?
Refresh Duct Cleaning, LLC is owned and operated by Aaron Goins and Ammon Bennion. Aaron is the original founder and has over five years in the indoor air quality industry. Ammon, who originally trained Aaron in the trade, is a NADCA-certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist and holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management from BYU-Idaho. The company is based in St. Johns County, Florida and operates under Florida contractor license CAC1824362.
Refresh Duct Cleaning was built on a simple belief: indoor air quality work should be done with care, precision and honesty.
We knew there was a better way to serve customers than rushing through jobs or offering one-size-fits-all solutions. Every home is different. Every HVAC system is different. Every customer has different concerns, whether that is dust, odors, poor airflow, energy loss, or simply wanting to know what is happening inside their duct system.
That is why we set out to build a company focused on thoughtful inspections, honest recommendations, advanced equipment and customized solutions tailored to each customer.
Our story
Refresh Duct Cleaning began with Aaron Goins, the original founder of the company.
Aaron was trained in the air duct cleaning industry by Ammon Bennion, where they both learned the importance of doing detailed, professional work and treating customers with honesty and respect. After gaining experience, Aaron moved to Utah and started Refresh Duct Cleaning, building the company around the same standards of quality, integrity and customer care.
Over time, Aaron and Ammon began talking about what it would look like to bring that same level of service back home to Northeast Florida. They both believed there was a real need for a company specializing in duct cleaning, duct sealing and indoor air quality solutions with a higher standard of professionalism.
Eventually Aaron made the decision to come back home and partner with Ammon to grow Refresh Duct Cleaning in Northeast Florida. Today the company is owned and operated by two local owners with hands-on experience, shared values and a clear vision for doing this work better.
What makes us different
Quality starts before the equipment ever comes off the truck. Every system deserves to be inspected, understood and treated according to its actual condition, which is why our process is built around education, photos, clear explanations and customized recommendations instead of pressure or guesswork.
One of the biggest differences in our work is the equipment. We run a truck-mounted Hypervac vacuum system designed to create strong negative pressure throughout the duct system. Combined with compressed-air tools, agitation devices and a methodical process, that removes built-up dust, debris and pet hair far more effectively than a smaller portable system.
We also believe NADCA standards are essential to doing the job correctly. NADCA provides the professional framework for safe, thorough, responsible HVAC system cleaning. For us that means following a disciplined process, protecting the home, cleaning the system carefully and making recommendations based on what we actually find.
We do not believe every customer needs the same service. Some homes need duct cleaning. Some benefit from Aeroseal duct sealing. Some need duct repairs, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC system cleaning, or a combination. Our job is to help you understand your system and choose what makes the most sense.
Our mission
To build trust by providing thoughtful, customized indoor air quality solutions delivered with integrity, care and attention to detail in every interaction.
Our vision
To set a new standard in indoor air quality by delivering customized solutions tailored to each customer's unique needs. We want Refresh Duct Cleaning to become Northeast Florida's trusted name for air duct cleaning, duct sealing, dryer vent cleaning, HVAC system cleaning and long-term indoor air quality solutions.
We are not trying to be the biggest company. We are working to become the most trusted.
Our values
Service
We exist to serve first. That means respecting your time, your home and your trust. We aim to leave every property better than we found it.
Integrity
We do the right thing, even when it costs us. Honest inspections, clear pricing, recommendations based on real needs. No shortcuts, no pressure tactics, no surprises.
Attitude
How we show up matters. Professionalism, respect and a solutions-focused mindset on every job, so customers feel comfortable asking questions.
Diligence
Details are not optional. Quality comes from disciplined work, careful inspections, strong equipment and taking the time to finish properly.

Common questions
Are you a franchise?
No. Refresh Duct Cleaning is independently owned and operated by Aaron and Ammon.
Do you subcontract the work?
No. The work is performed by our own crews under our own supervision.
What does NADCA certification actually mean?
NADCA certifies people, not companies. The company joins NADCA as a member; an individual sits an examination on NADCA's ACR Standard and earns the Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) credential. So “NADCA-certified company” is not a real thing, and a company advertising it is telling you something about how carefully it reads. Refresh is a NADCA member company with an ASCS on staff, which is the accurate way to say it. What it buys you is a documented method behind the work rather than improvisation.
Why is there a Utah connection?
Aaron founded Refresh Duct Cleaning in Utah after being trained by Ammon. He later moved back home to Northeast Florida and partnered with Ammon to build the company here. The Florida operation is the company today.
